(2 framed b/w-print, 2013)
Documentation of a public memorial by Minnesministeriet. On June 15th, 2011
Minnesministeriet (The Ministry of Memory) inaugurated a public memorial in Vasaparken in
Gothenburg. This was done to administer memories of events during and after the protests
in connection to the EU-summit in Gothenburg, Sweden in June 2001 – memories denied
by the social order.

Translation of the text on the memorial:
Vasaplatsen, June 15, 2001
“They’re firing, they’re firing!”
“It’s live ammunition! They’re firing live ammunition!”
And you realize it’s true.
You become so scared that you suddenly feel completely calm.
They’re firing live ammunition at us now.
It really is a kind of zero hour. At once a beginning and an end.
From here it could go anywhere. From here.
How are you going to get out of here?
